Hello! I’m Andrew, a passionate photographer from Neath, South Wales. My family is my world, and photography allows me to capture our precious memories and the stunning world around us. I particularly enjoy photographing our adventures while hiking and the challenge of capturing the antics of my pets, making my home feel like a lively zoo.

Before embarking on my photography journey, I spent over 20 years working in a factory, the last six as a foreman. There, I earned the nickname BamBam, due to my father’s resemblance to Barney Rubble. However, a change in family circumstances led me to leave the factory to care for my son. This shift provided me with the opportunity to focus on my passion for photography, a love that intensified when my son was born. I purchased my first professional camera four years ago and haven’t looked back since.

As a self-taught photographer, I learn something new every time I pick up my camera. I’m grateful for the support of my friends and family, as well as a Facebook camera group that meets regularly for walks. This exposure to a wide range of photography styles has been invaluable. Creating BamBam Photography allows me to balance my family commitments, turn a hobby into a career, and help others create lasting memories.
I’ve undertaken several projects for family, the local Beaver Scouts group and several modelling shoots. I always strive to ensure the standard of work is the best it can be. If I’m not quite satisfied, I seek ways to improve my skills until I’m happy with the final result.
