Hello! I’m Andrew, the photographer behind BamBam Photography, based in Neath, South Wales.

My family is my world, and photography is how I capture the laughter, love, and chaos that make life beautiful. Whether it’s hiking adventures or the daily antics of our pets (yes, it’s a bit of a zoo!), I find joy in freezing those fleeting moments.

Photography isn’t my full-time job—yet—but it’s where I’m headed. I work as a mechanic, bringing the same precision to engines as I do behind the lens. Before that, I spent over 20 years in factory work, including seven as a foreman, until I stepped away to raise my son. That shift gave me space to pursue photography with purpose. The nickname “BamBam” stuck from those factory days—born from my dad’s uncanny resemblance to Barney Rubble—and now it’s the heart of my brand, representing the grit, warmth, and personality behind every photo I take.

I’m self-taught, always learning, and deeply grateful for the support of my family and friends. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work alongside a variety of photographers, each with their own techniques and styles. Those experiences helped shape my own approach and gave me the confidence to trust my eye and instincts.

Since starting BamBam Photography, I’ve worked on a variety of projects—from family portraits and modelling shoots to maternity sessions and more. I take pride in delivering work that’s not just good—but the best I can offer. If I’m not satisfied, I keep refining until I am.
